Ayurveda is the Indian science of medicine. Although the word itself means science of life, of a long and healthy life, and as that it focuses on prevention, on living a health life custom made for each and every one of us. We are all different and with that have different needs. Ayurveda recognizes these differences with the teachings of the three main principles the dosha-s. The three dosha-s manifest in all their diversity, making no two people alike, just as the five elements from which they are formed. When the doshas are in balance they keep us healthy, when they are out of balance they create disease. In this workshop we will explore these principles. The doshas and one of the most important ways to keep them in balance or restore their balance: Food. Food is our daily medicine that decides our health. There are some simple rules and guidelines in ayurveda that can make the difference between health and disease, without making our life complicated.
