Hi all, First off, not trying to start any religious debates or discussions. Plenty of forums for that besides this one! Now for the question: From what I have been able to find, the host (or eucharist, that little cracker thingy , unleavened bread, lots of terms for it) is made up solely of wheat flour and water. That's it. Any ideas what the carb count might be for something of this nature? I understand that whatever it is, it will be a very small amount, but I am still curious. Sorry if this question is offensive to anyone; it certainly is not meant to be. For the record, I'm Roman Catholic. This question might be of interest to persons of any faith that dispenses this during a religious service. All my Google searches resulted in learning nothing more than the ingredients. No recipes, no nutritional content, either. I did find a few sites that parodied Atkins' fictitious development of a beef-_base_d host. It was humorous, but didn't help me with my answer. I'm guessing that the nutritional content of a host would be somewhat similar to a small saltine cracker, less the salt. Any ideas? Thanks, Tom
